“Today is the first day of the rest of my l–”
It’s the first day of school in the county where I live. That doesn’t really mean much for me personally, as I haven’t been in grade school for over a decade. (Which officially makes me ancient in the eyes of those who are still in school.)
However, this is the first day of school for a friend of mine. Her first day as a full-time teacher. She finished her education in education (heh) three years ago, and has been patiently praying and waiting for a job in our area. She’s been faithful as a substitute in other teachers’ classes, and now God has given her one of her own.
Congrats Miss French! Happy First Day of School!
